Change Goal: The habit or skill you will practice with your MetaMentor program until you master it and it becomes totally reliable.

Change Statement: A concise description of the behavior, action, or mental attitude you will practice each day with your MetaMentor Change program. One of the four Key Statements which together form the foundation of your MetaMentor Change program.

Coach’s Message: The encouraging message that you write to yourself as if you were a personal coach and based on the trends you have observed in your Effort Level and Habit Reliability Rating grades.

Cost of Failure Statement: One of the four Key Statements which together form the foundation of your MetaMentor Change program.

Effort Level: A measure of your effort, or how hard you are trying each day to practice your Change Goal as planned.

Effort Level Rating: Self-assessment according to a scale of A+ to F taken each day in the PM Review session of your Effort Level that day.

Habit Reliability: A measure of the reliability of the habit or skill you are practicing with your MetaMentor Change program.

Habit Reliability Rating: Self-assessment according to a scale of 100% to 0% taken every fourth day in the PM review session of your Habit Reliability as of that day.

Key Statement: There are four Key Statements which together form the foundation of your MetaMentor Change program and are used on a regular basis throughout the course of the program. The four Key Statements are: the Change Statement; the Outcomes Statement; the Cost of Failure Statement; and the Tactics Statement.

Mentor Visualization: A multi-part visualization used daily, beginning on Day 6, which harnesses the power of imagination to invoke the feeling of being supported by an envisioned mentor who is skilled at the habit or skill you are practicing with your MetaMentor Change program.

Mudra: A position or small movement of the body or hand which you create to represent in a visceral, physical way how you would feel should your Outcomes Statement or you Cost of Failure Statement come to pass in your life.

Outcomes Statement: One of the four Key Statements which together form the foundation of your MetaMentor Change program.

Tactics Statement: One of the four Key Statements which together form the foundation of your MetaMentor Change program.

Trigger Exercise: A visualization used to defuse resistance to practicing your Change Goal.
