Tana Pesso has been an executive coach and management consultant for 34 years. During the past 30 years Ms. Pesso has specialized almost exclusively in executive coaching and management development. In her early years Ms. Pesso worked as a management consultant at Urban Systems Research & Engineering in Cambridge, MA focusing primarily on management and public policy studies for federal education and assistance programs. She then joined GoodMeasure, Inc., which was founded by Barry Stein and Harvard Business School Professor Rosabeth Moss Kanter, where she specialized in organizational analysis. After developing her own unique approach to transformative executive coaching, Executive Performance Analysis, she began a private consulting practice in 1985, and has specialized in providing contextual, analytical, and motivation-based coaching for senior executives ever since.

In 2003, Ms. Pesso created MetaMentor, a 28-day audio/video-guided program that simulates a coach’s activity and support while assisting a client to establish a desired new work habit or behavior. During free beta tests on iTunes, the program proved immensely popular rising to rank 3rd in the Career category and 32nd in Business overall.  The program underwent a small successful pilot test at Harvard University’s Hauser Center for Non-Profits.  Ms. Pesso is currently developing a smart phone application of MetaMentor for the mass market.

Between 1998 and 2009 Ms. Pesso studied closely under many of the most profound Tibetan Buddhist masters and began to draw lessons from their approaches and techniques for effecting dramatic reductions in mental distractions that she believed could be applicable in the workplace and life in general.  In 2010 her book of 40 simple compassion practices and meditation techniques  was published by Wisdom Publications with a foreword by Dalai Lama,

In 2011, taking this field of study and the practices in her book a step further, she created Fearless Clarity techniques which are designed to enhance emotional intelligence in the workplace and diminish distracting emotional reactions so that people can free more energy and and attain greater clarity of thought in truly productive activity.

Ms. Pesso’s undergraduate and graduate degrees are from Harvard College and Harvard University respectively.
